What’s in the box
- 50 double-sided cards, 63 × 88 mm. An idea on one side, an everyday thing on the other.
- 1 die. You fold it from a card into a six-sided prism and roll it like a pencil.
- 2 rule cards.
Card 34 has Trust on one side and Window on the other. See all 50 words.
Who it’s for
- Friends. A kitchen table, a few people who know each other’s jokes and want to hear something new.
- Couples and dates. Two people, one deck, a slow evening.
- Teams and classes. A table of 2–6 at the start of a meeting or a lesson.
- Therapy groups. A conversation format the facilitator can choose to use.
Guides for couples, teams, and therapy groups are on the blog.
The story
Thesis is by AllThatRoundYou*, a community of about 1,000 people. A graphic designer in Berlin designed it.
[OWNER: one or two sentences on why he made the game.]
The research behind it
The idea side holds words people use every day and read in different ways. In one study of couples, trust meant open access to each other’s phones for some, and never needing to look for others (arXiv, 2024).
The thing side holds ordinary objects: a Key, a Mug, a Spoon. The curators of the Museum of Broken Relationships say the strongest stories often attach to unremarkable things (New East Archive).

FAQ
How many people can play?
2–6 players. A bigger group can split into tables, with one deck per table or the online version on a phone.
How long does a game take?
The rule card says: “Play for as long as it feels good.” One round works. So does a whole evening.
What if a card feels too hard?
Every card has a second side, and you can choose it. Before you start, the group agrees how passing works.
Where do you ship?
To the US and to Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, and Finland. We don’t ship to the UK. The online version is free to play anywhere.
