Failure
Washing machine
Failure is in the Learning cluster. It can be read two ways: a step that teaches you something, or a thing that only becomes real when you give up. One player may tell a story about an exam. Another may say they haven’t failed at anything yet, because they haven’t stopped.
The other side is Washing machine, named in the original brief. A 1997 Seattle Times piece describes a grandmother’s long wash days, and how the machine freed time without changing who did the laundry.
Draw it. Choose a side: Failure or Washing machine. Roll the die. Look at the word from that side.
